Services We Offer

Supported Living

We strive to build a world where everyone, regardless of their mental, sensory, or physical challenges, can lead an independent, meaningful, and dignified life with the right support.

What is Supported Living Supported living enables individuals with support needs to live in their own home with the help they need to be independent. It allows them to choose:

· where they want to live

· who with

· how they want to be supported

· what happens in their own home.

Supported living has a lot of overlap with housing with care but is typically considered separately. People in supported living have their own tenancy agreement and are responsible for their own bills and cost of living. The personal care and accommodation parts of supported living are covered by separate agreements. To help cover costs individuals may be entitled to a range of benefits such as the housing benefit part of Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payments (PIP, up to state pension age only), Employment and Support Allowance (ESA, up to state pension age only) and Attendance Allowance (AA). Grants to adapt a property may also be available. The cost of some or all a person’s care and support may be available through the local authority or sometimes via NHS funding.

LIVE IN CARE

Our Live-In Care options mean one of our carers lives with you so they can provide 24-hour support throughout the day and night. As well as offering ongoing and tailored support in all areas of care, our live-in carers also give you companionship and help in everyday tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, medication support, prescription reminder, pet-care or cleaning.

Most importantly, live-in care provides a higher level of care than most hospitals or care homes, while also giving you more freedom and independence in the comfort of your home.

The live-in caregiver that will be assigned is carefully selected based on your care needs, personality, preferences and hobbies. We would also ensure we assign caregivers who fit your lifestyle, including whether you have pets or whether you need a caregiver with specialised training in certain medical equipment.

Our live-in care service is designed to be flexible and tailored to individual circumstances and needs. Our live in care goal is to provide a compassionate and quality person centered care at all times to you or your loved ones.

Our live in caegivers dont compromise good quality and compassionate care with anything esle. And as a company who prides itself in providing a bespoke care at all times to match individuals needs, quality of the care we provide speaks for itself.

Our Live in care packages are 24 hours, 7 days a week therefore providing an adequate care to you or your loved ones both day and night. In addition, depending on the funding source which could be from the local council or privately funded we strive as much to negotiate good deal for individuals and their family members before accepting the care packages.

Our live in care packages can provide care needs to individuals with complex physical and mental health care needs, palliative care, and with diagnosis of dementia and or alzheimer’s, which can also include short term respite care for people looking for 24/7 care for their loved ones whilst they are away.

respite care

Respite care is when one of our experienced caregivers takes over your care responsibilities for a loved one for a temporary period. This could be while you are on holiday, taking a short break, or in case of emergencies. We can provide respite care for any length of time from a day to a few weeks.

We can also provide last-minute care if there is an emergency, or if the length of respite care you need is uncertain (e.g. because of illness or injury).

However, Visiting Care is where a caregiver visits for short or longer periods in a day, depending on the service user’s needs, this could be mornings, afternoons, teatimes and evenings.

This is a cost effective option compared to care homes and this will also maintain the indepenence of your loved ones rather than subjecting them to a sudden environmental change, where they could find it difficult to adapt. This can happen mostly with individuals diagnosed with dementia and or alzheimer’s diseases.

companionship

Companionship is a type of home care service designed for individuals who may be at risk of loneliness or who have been experiencing loneliness for some time.

At Lyriq Healthcare our caregiver will pay the individual a visit at home and engage in companionship and emotional support. Throughout the week, your companion is there to be a welcoming face and to offer enjoyable, caring company. Your favorite meals can be made by a caregiver/companion for you at the times that you choose, and they can sit with you while you eat.

If you discover that you need a little more help with the shopping, a companion can pick it up for you or go with you to the stores.

Long-distance travel may seem intimidating, but your companion can support and assist you with the planning of the trip.Your companion can assist with household chores like cleaning and laundry in addition to offering warm company.

Your companion can assist in making sure you feel cozy and at ease, whether they are plumping your pillows, regulating the temperature, or cleaning the place. Our companionship will always ensure you don’t feel lonely anyday anytime anywhere.

COMPLEX CARE

We are aware of the difficulties a chronic illness can bring about in terms of quality of life, and that a nursing home or residential home may seem like the only choice if we are afraid of burdening our loved ones.

At Lyriq Healthcare, our goal is to refute this idea in the minds of our customers and instead provide them with the support, encouragement, and services they need to keep living well in their own homes.

We wish to contribute to preserving your independence, dignity, and freedom of choice in spite of the limitations placed upon you. Your home is the best place to achieve this. That being said, our Complex Care Plan guarantees that you will always have these rights.

hospital to home care

The idea of never going back to your house after having surgery or even being admitted to the hospital, with the degree of care necessitating the option of a nursing home or residential home, can be extremely scary. Similarly, even if  you require section 117 aftercare after being discharged from hospital as a sectioned patient under the Mental Health Act, going back to your abode or having to stay in a newer environment could be a daunting task and too overwhelming for you.

At Lyriq Healthcare, we think that our Hospital to Home service can facilitate your return to your comfortable environment and speed up your healing and or recovery process. We will also communicate and liaise with any relevant staff members, such as your general practitioner, hospital doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure that you receive the full on-going support and quality of care you require.
