Personal care
Respectful help with washing, dressing, personal presentation and daily living tasks, where agreed in the care plan.
Individual support and companionship to help people stay in familiar surroundings, with arrangements shaped around their needs.

Live-in care can offer a practical alternative for adults who need significant support but wish to remain at home. Following assessment, an appropriately matched care worker may stay in the person’s home and help with day-to-day needs, while respecting their preferences, cultural background, privacy and independence.
We discuss the level of supervision required, care worker accommodation, breaks, emergency arrangements and any additional staffing needs before agreeing a safe package. Live-in care does not automatically mean a single worker remains awake or provides uninterrupted care 24 hours a day. Waking-night or continuous two-person support requires separate planning.
All proposed services are subject to Lyriq’s assessment, current availability and ability to meet the individual’s needs safely.

Respectful help with washing, dressing, personal presentation and daily living tasks, where agreed in the care plan.
Practical assistance with meals, hydration, shopping lists and household routines.
Conversation, shared activities and support to stay involved with family and the wider community.
Appropriate support with mobility, appointments and escalation of concerns, within staff competence and agreed plans.
Where suitable, live-in care may help someone settle back into everyday routines after a hospital stay or injury. We can discuss help with meals, mobility around the home, light household tasks, companionship and attending follow-up appointments.
Discharge arrangements should be coordinated with the appropriate professionals. Nursing treatments, wound care and other clinical activities are not implied by this service; any regulated personal care is provided only within the company’s authorised scope and staff competencies.

Discuss the person’s needs, routines and whether live-in support is the right option.
We review safety, care requirements, the home environment, breaks and staffing.
Where suitable, we agree a care plan, support schedule and review arrangements.
For individual circumstances and eligibility, our team can talk through your options.
Not necessarily. Live-in staff require rest and breaks. If continuous supervision or waking-night support is needed, this is assessed and arranged separately.
Possibly. We assess the support required and whether the service can safely meet those needs, including any professional discharge recommendations.
Please ask the team about suitability, availability, intended duration and the necessary assessment.
Talk to us about your situation. We will explain the next steps and arrange an appropriate conversation.
